Inevitable Darkness

From talking and wondering “what is her name”

To emails and chats, playing the story game

From not knowing each other’s past

We understand we definitely contrast

From finding out that we both love to write

To asking, “did you finish the next chapter?” every night

From seeing each other across the room in biology class

To sitting next to each other and talking, alas

We became close friends, closer than I thought

Good thing I didn’t mention LSU early, we surely would have fought

It is amazing having you as a best friend

(and yes even in college!!) I hope it’ll never end…
